Sometimes it’s hard to believe that the furniture arriving at our workshop is the same piece that leaves it.

This armchair had been well loved in the President’s Lodgings at Trinity College, Oxford and was ready for a refresh. We were able to source the same fabric as the original, giving the chair a renewed look while preserving its character and integrity.

A little blue, a little white, and a lot of thoughtful making.

This bespoke sofa bed has been handcrafted in our workshop using natural materials. The solid FSC-certified wood frame is wrapped in natural latex and coconut coir, while wool balls provide a natural filling for the sofa cushions. Even the mattress has been made from scratch, using natural latex foam from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, horsehair and a wool liner.

The finished piece is upholstered in 100% linen, with a classic blue and white stripe that brings a fresh, relaxed feel to the room.
