I think this might be my favourite thing I’ve painted so far! 🦋

My new Butterflies Vase, individually hand-painted with lots of different colourful UK butterflies. I absolutely loved painting all the tiny details on this one.

It’s now finished and for sale in Oakwood - Tourism & Crafts - Strontian

A little piece of summer that will last all year round. 💕

My shelves are full again! 🎨✨

After lots of evening painting this week, I’ve restocked my Ember Glass collection at Oakwood - Tourism & Crafts - Strontian.

Pop in and have a wee look. There are lots of freshly painted pieces ready to find new homes! 🥰

As always, everything is hand-painted by me and inspired by the wildlife and beauty of our wee corner of the West Highlands.

Inspired by watching the swallows dart and dance over the village green, catching flies, I decided to paint them onto glass. 🩵

Meet the two little people who inspired Ember Glass… our children, Ember and Dylan ❤️
Dylan means “from the ocean”, bringing the water, calm and creativity. Ember brings the fire, warmth and “light in the darkness.”
Together, they inspired the fire and water elements in our logo, and sit right at the heart of my business.
