an we talk about bathroom lighting? 💡✨

I’m an absolute sucker for a hanging pendant or a beautiful wall light in a bathroom. Lighting can completely change the feel of a room and, for me, it’s just as much part of the design as the tiles, paint and brassware.

A pendant beside a bath, wall lights around a mirror, or something a little unexpected can take a bathroom from lovely to properly special.

And yes… we sell these too! 🙌

We can now supply a gorgeous range of bathroom-suitable lighting in different styles and finishes, so when we’re helping you put your bathroom together, we can think about the whole room — tiles, colours, brassware and lighting.

Obviously bathrooms have lighting zones and IP ratings, so you can’t just hang any old fabulous light wherever you fancy 😂 — but we can help you choose something suitable for the space.

Because practical doesn’t have to mean boring.

So… are you a pendant, wall light or spotlights person? 👇

Not every job is all sunshine and roses… and this one certainly kept me on my toes! 😂

We had a few hiccups along the way with this bathroom, but my lovely customer stuck with me, we worked through them and got everything sorted.

And just look at it now! 😍

Things don’t always go perfectly to plan — I think what really matters is how you deal with them when they don’t.

One gorgeous bathroom and, most importantly, one very happy customer. ❤️

A VERY GOOD REASON TO GO OUT ON SATURDAY NIGHT 💗🍸

Our lovely friend at Wicks & Spritz in Baildon has been working his socks off putting together a brilliant night this Saturday — all in support of breast cancer awareness.

There’ll be lots of independent stalls for some early Christmas shopping, an amazing cocktail bar and plenty going on from 5pm till late.

We’ve gone rather pink ourselves at Plan-It-Earth this October 🎀, so we wanted to show our support and give his event a great big shout-out.

A huge amount of work has gone into organising it and we would genuinely love to see the place packed and lots of money raised for such an important cause.

Saturday 10th October | From 5pm | Wicks & Spritz, Baildon

Come along, buy something lovely, have a cocktail (it would be rude not to 🍸) and help make all his hard work worthwhile.

Local people. Local businesses. One very worthwhile cause. 💗 🎀 🎀

Apparently I’m a bit of a control freak… 😂

But only when it comes to making sure your finished room looks fabulous.

For years I’ve helped customers choose their tiles, bathrooms, flooring, grout, trims and brassware — then recommended the perfect paint colour to pull everything together… only to send them somewhere else to buy it. Which, when you think about it, is slightly ridiculous. 😂

So I’ve finally done something about it.

Plan-It-Earth is now supplying COAT paints. 🎨

I’ve recommended paint colours throughout my career, but I didn’t want to stock paint just for the sake of it. I wanted a range I genuinely loved and felt confident recommending — and I’ve found it.

So now I can help you take a room from the very first idea right through to those all-important finishing touches.

Tiles. Bathrooms. Flooring. Paint. The whole shebang.

COAT colour samples arrive next week and I’m ridiculously excited to start putting combinations together.

More than just a tile shop. ❤️

What a brilliant afternoon at Addingham B**r Festival! 🍻

We were very proud to sponsor again this year — and even prouder to support an event that does so much more than provide a very good excuse for a pint!

The festival is organised by an amazing bunch of local people, with funds raised going back into local causes and projects that genuinely mean something to the community. ❤️

As a small independent business, that’s exactly the sort of thing we love getting behind.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for all the time, hard work and effort that goes into making it happen — and for making us feel so welcome at the sponsors’ session.

Cheers to another fantastic Addingham B**r Festival! 🍻

We’ve gone pink for October 💗

Our October window is finished and this month it’s about something rather more important than tiles.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I’ve raided the showroom for every shade of pink I could find and given the window a little Plan-It-Earth treatment. 🎀

It’s pretty, it’s pink and hopefully it might also give someone walking past a little reminder to check themselves.

Because as the sign in our window says — knowing it exists is not enough.

Check your b***s. Know what’s normal for you. And if something doesn’t feel right, get it checked. 💗

I’ll pop a link in the comments to Breast Cancer Now for information on signs, symptoms and how to check.

And yes… I may have become slightly emotionally attached to my giant pink ribbon. 😂🎀 🎀 🎀

🍻 PROST! 🍻

Plan-It-Earth is very proud to be supporting Addingham B**r Festival 2026!

I’ll be heading along to the sponsors’ session on Friday — purely in a professional capacity, obviously. 👀🍺😂

Then the festival continues Friday & Saturday, so if you’re heading down, have an absolutely brilliant time and raise a glass for us!

Supporting local events and our local community is something I’m always very happy to get behind. ❤️

Tiles. Bathrooms. Interiors. And apparently b**r now. 😂🍻

Cheers!

Who says we always have to be bold? 🤍

Now, you all know I love a bit of colour, pattern and something a little bit different… but sometimes, understated elegance is exactly what a space needs.

Just look at this beautiful bathroom! 😍

Warm wood-effect fluted tiles, soft neutral tones and clean, contemporary lines come together to create a wonderfully calm, timeless space.

At Plan-It-Earth, we’re not just about bold patterns and statement tiles. Whether you love a riot of colour or prefer something a little more subtle, we’re here to help you create a space that feels right for YOU.

A huge thank you to our talented tiler for sharing these gorgeous photos with us. What a fabulous job! 👏
