A message from your new Wellington Management Team.

Since joining us earlier in September, Justin Coll, our Centre Manager, and Susmita Giri, our Operations Manager, have been getting to know the centre and the people who use it. As long-time Aldershot residents, they share your interest in seeing The Wellington do well.

You've told us what matters, and this is where we are so far:

• Escalators: refurbishment has now begun, which is why some areas are currently hoarded off. We're planning for them to be back in service in time for Christmas
• Upper concourse: lighting fixtures have been repaired
• Leaks: several affected areas have been fixed
• Lifts: we've engaged contractors to reinstate the lifts that were damaged by vandalism

We appreciate that the escalators and lifts being unavailable is a real inconvenience, particularly for those with mobility needs, and we thank you for bearing with us.

We're also working quietly in the background to welcome new businesses to the centre, and we hope to share more soon.

There is more to do, but a thriving Wellington is good for Aldershot, and we're committed to getting there. Thank you for your feedback and support.
