ONE MORE WEEKEND OF THE BIG CLEAR-OUT!

I’m giving it one final Saturday to clear out some of the older stock at Campbell’s Curiosities.

There’ll be chairs, cupboards, furniture, old signs and plenty of other bits and pieces, including some items that need a little restoration and projects I simply haven’t had the time to get round to.

I’d much rather see these pieces go to someone who can use them, restore them or give them a new home, so there will be some proper bargains to be had.

This is the last weekend I’ll be doing the clear-out, so if you fancy a rummage, come along this Saturday.

And even if it’s not for you, please give this post a share, you might know someone who loves a project, is furnishing a house, runs a pub/café/shop, or simply can’t resist a bargain. Every share really does help get the word out.

Come along, have a dig and make me an offer.

That’s a wrap on The Great Antiques Fair! The Great Antiques Fair

What a brilliant weekend. A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the fair happen and to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a browse or to buy something.

One of the best parts of doing these fairs is the people you meet along the way. It was great to share the trading floor with some familiar faces, catch up with dealers I’ve met before and make plenty of new friends too.

The antiques world really is full of characters and I mean that in the best possible way! There are some genuinely great people in this business. Whether it’s helping unload a van, lending a hand with a piece of furniture, sharing advice or just having a good laugh when you’ve been on your feet for hours, everyone seems willing to muck in and help each other out.

I genuinely love meeting people, hearing their stories and learning from dealers who have been doing this far longer than I have.

Heading home tired, but very grateful to be part of such a great community.

Thanks Ireland, it’s been a pleasure. 🇮🇪

If you’ve visited Campbell’s Curiosities, bought something from us in the shop, at an antiques fair, or ordered from us online, we’d really appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to leave us a review.

For a small independent business, reviews genuinely make a difference.

They help new customers find us, give people confidence to buy from a business they may not have come across before, and help us continue to grow. In fact, research shows that 85% of consumers are more likely to use a business after reading positive reviews.

But more importantly, we value the feedback. Whether you’ve bought a £10 curiosity or a piece of 17th-century furniture, we want to know what your experience with Campbell’s Curiosities was like.

Every genuine review helps a small independent business like ours more than you might realise.

So, if you’ve visited us or bought from us before and have a spare couple of minutes, we’d be incredibly grateful if you shared your experience.
