It's been a while since I last posted, but I've been busy behind the scenes, and I feel lucky to be spending my days designing, weaving and kiltmaking.

Currently on the loom are two very special custom tartan blankets, designed to tell the story of my customers childhood family picnics. I love that tartan can be so much more than a pattern or a colour combination and it can hold memories, tell stories and connect us to the people and moments that mean the most to us.

Happy tartan day!
After completing two kilt commissions, I'm now back to setting up my loom to weave the Snowdrop Tartan. This time around, it's going to be made into a new product for a customer. 15% of each sale of the Snowdrop Tartan is donated to Strathcarron Hospice.

I promised myself that I would get better at posting in 2026. However, here we are in February already, and I'm just getting round to my first post of the year! Lots going on, with a lovely mix of weaving and kiltmaking. Here is the start of kilt number 13 , a lovely Robertson Htg tartan from .
