...and also saving them, sharing them to stories, sharing them to their own WhatsApp number and reposting them 👀

There's tonnes of reading about Witch Marks in England but if this interested you I strongly recommend listening to the English Heritage podcast, Episode 83, where they talk about not only Witch Marks but the how humans could have been so superstitious (and irrational) and worryingly how our behaviour hasn't actually moved on all that much. (Remember when neighbours used to grass up people meeting in groups of 6 or more during covid???)

Mornin 🌄
I only have 3 commission slots left in time for Christmas delivery.
Don't be a silly goose like me and leave it all until December 20th.
No need to pay now - just let me know if you'd like a space and I'll put your name down. X

We can’t keep them here forever, but we can keep their memory close. 🤍💛🩵

Just finished the Lizzie Borden story and now starting Ed Gein. Why do I put myself through it?

Gosh it's been a year since I started these fossil studies for a double A3 commission. Studying them ignited a bit of a fossil obsession (and collection). Handling them and appreciating their age just blows my tiny monkey mind.
My girls have delved into learning about them too and particularly coprolites (fossilised dung 💩😆).
What could be funnier than a 3 million year old poo when you're 6 years old?

Had a little breather and it's good to be back 😊

Look how these little babies turned out! Completely freestyled this watercolour but wanted to make something that would look super tempting and summery on a shelf. 🍊🍊🍊 I can also testify that they taste pretty damn good too!

Make your own font! 🖊

🔹️ Paint/write all your capital letters, lowercase case letters and basic punctuation marks (?,;:"'!) and take photos of them

🔹️ Upload your photos/scans to and remove the background

🔹️ Head to calligraphr.com and download a template (for a shortcut you could print this template and put your letters directly on it but I knew I'd make mistakes so took the Canva route and I also wanted to use watercolour paper).

🔹️ Upload your Calligraphr template into an A4 document in Canva and lock it into place using the lock symbol 🔒

🔹️Slot each of your characters into their box using guidelines to help

🔹️ Download your finished font as a .png

🔹️ Head back to Calligraphr and upload the finished template. You can preview letters to check your satisfasfied before exporting it as a .ttf file

🔹️ In your brand section in Canva you can upload you new font and off you go!

My first Etsy UK order done ✔️
It makes me laugh when my husband asks who the order is for and I have to explain it's a real life customer not a friend or relative 🤭
'A REAL actual PERSON who DOESN'T KNOW ME!' 😮

Anyway, this was a real treat to work on:
🔹️A3 house portrait on cold-pressed watercolour paper
🔹️Winsor & Newton watercolours
🔹️Includes couple on the doorstep
🔹️Includes Celtic cross beyond the wall as requested
🔹️ Finished with uni-ball UK | Premium Ink Pens fineliner and some wording underneath
🔹️Signed, sealed and posted FOC Royal Mail 📮 SignedFor

Get in touch if you've got something in mind. Christmas slots already going!! (Wtaf?)
