How to make your candles last twice as long (Save this post)

Our master Hampshire chandlers share 3 simple rules to get the cleanest, longest burn from every Country Candle:

1. The First Burn is Everything: Always allow the top layer of wax to melt completely to the edge of the glass. This prevents "tunneling"
2. Trim That Wick: Snip your cotton wick to 5mm before every lighting. A trimmed wick prevents soot and keeps the flame steady.
3 Avoid the Draught: Keep your candle away from open windows and vents so the wax burns evenly across.
