The Mooch team attended the inaugural Andover Music Awards last night as we sponsored the Best Original Act category.

What a fantastic evening and a big well done to Ben Tuffin, Sarah Jane Grace, Alun Grace and all others involved in putting on such a great event. Shout out to all the local businesses who also sponsored and supported the evening.

It’s great to see such a rich variety of musical talent we have in Andover.

Congratulations to Echotape, who won best original act and congratulations to all other nominees and winners 👏👏

🎶🏆 ANDOVER MUSIC AWARDS 2026 – WHAT A NIGHT! 🏆🎶

WOW, ANDOVER! What an incredible evening! ❤️

The very first Andover Music Awards took place at The Lights on Tuesday evening, bringing together some of the most talented musicians, bands, performers and music lovers from across Andover and the surrounding area.

After months of planning, 460 nominations and plenty of excitement, we finally got to celebrate the incredible musical talent our community has to offer!

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR WINNERS! 🏆

Every single finalist should be immensely proud. The standard of talent was absolutely phenomenal, and choosing the winners was no easy task!

A particularly special moment of the evening was recognising Chris Britton of legendary Andover band The Troggs with the Contribution to Music Award. A truly fitting tribute to someone who has helped put Andover on the international music map. ❤️

And a special mention to Dan Parkinson, who walked away with TWO awards on the night! 👏

❤️ A MASSIVE THANK YOU!

Events like this simply wouldn't happen without the incredible support of local businesses.

A HUGE thank you to our headline sponsor Perfect Bore Manufacturing Ltd, our live performance sponsor Stannah, and every single business that sponsored an award or supported the event.

Your generosity helped us turn an idea into a fantastic celebration of local music.

We also want to say an enormous thank you to The Lights and all their wonderful staff. From the planning and preparation to everything that happened on the night, your support, professionalism and hard work were hugely appreciated. What a brilliant venue to host our very first awards!

Thank you to our fantastic live performers, our host Rob Francis, the judges, photographers, volunteers and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

And finally, THANK YOU to everyone who attended, cheered, applauded and helped create such a wonderful atmosphere.

The Andover Music Awards were created to recognise, support and celebrate the incredible music scene we have right here on our doorstep.

And judging by Tuesday night, we've got an awful lot to be proud of! ❤️

📅 AND WE'RE DOING IT ALL AGAIN!

The date is officially set...

🎉 TUESDAY 12TH OCTOBER 2027! 🎉

The Andover Music Awards will return, and we can't wait to make next year's celebration even bigger and better!

🎶 SEE YOU NEXT YEAR, ANDOVER! ❤️🏆
