Hello September! 🍂 We’re heading into a new month with plenty of beautiful blooms, fresh bunches and bouquets being made in the shop all week.

Pop in and see what’s looking lovely, or get in touch if you’d like us to make something special for collection or delivery 💐

We’ve got two sessions on Sunday 29th November, with everything you need to make your own gorgeous festive wreath.

Places are limited and we expect them to fill up, so don’t leave it too long to grab yours.

🌸 Bank Holiday Opening Hours 🌸

A little heads-up for the long weekend, Petals!

If you already have an order or collection arranged for over the Bank Holiday weekend, everything will go ahead as planned. 💐

Our online ordering is now closed for the Bank Holiday, but you can still pop into the shop or give us a call today or Saturday to place an order for delivery or collection for next week onwards.

🌸 Pretty in pink at The Petal Boutique

A little bit of what’s looking lovely in the shop today… 💕

Beautiful pink carnations alongside delicate spray chrysanthemums – and we thought the carnations deserved a little extra appreciation.

Did you know their botanical name, Dianthus, comes from Greek words commonly interpreted as “flower of the gods”? ✨

And pink carnations are traditionally associated with gratitude and affection – making them a rather lovely choice for a little “thank you” or “thinking of you” bunch 💗

Long-lasting, beautifully ruffled and perhaps a little underrated… we’re definitely on Team Carnation 🌸

🎓🌸 GCSE Results Day!🌸🎓

A big good luck to everyone collecting their GCSE results today — we hope all that hard work pays off! 💛

And whatever those envelopes (or screens!) say, getting to this point is something worth celebrating.

If you’re marking the occasion for someone special, we’ve got plenty of beautiful fresh flowers in the shop today — from little bunches to ready-made bouquets. 💐

🌼 PETAL PICK: Gerbera

Big, bright and full of personality – this week’s Petal Pick is the gorgeous gerbera 🌸

A few things you might not know about these colourful blooms…

🌿 Gerberas are part of the daisy family and originate from South Africa, Asia and South America.

🌈 They come in an incredible range of colours – from soft pastels to vivid pinks, oranges, reds and yellows.

🌼 What looks like one big flower is actually made up of lots of tiny individual flowers clustered together in the centre.

💛 Gerberas are traditionally associated with happiness, cheerfulness and joy – which seems pretty fitting for such a happy-looking bloom!

💧 As cut flowers, they prefer fresh, shallow water and a lovely clean vase, as their stems can be particularly sensitive to bacteria.

You can spot gerberas in the shop at the moment too – we have gerbera plants, as well as some of their tiny cut-flower cousins making an appearance in our bouquets 💐
