Great news for all my lovely customers - following the recent IOM Government announcement I am now able to return to work and will be doing so from Monday 25th January 2021 with the following stringent hygiene measures in place

1. I will be disinfecting all gate latches prior to entering and again on leaving properties with approved disinfectant spray
2. I will be also disinfecting door handles
3. I work alone so it’s easy for me to socially distance and as much as sometimes it’s lovely to get a brew from a customer on my rounds unfortunately I can no longer accept any offers of brews, etc (please don’t be offended by this it is to protect myself, my customers and my family)
4. We will leave an invoice as usual and the preferred method of payment is online transfer at this time however Cheques can still be sent in the post as usual and if you would like to pay cash this can be left in a prearranged place to allow us to maintain social distancing please either pm or call us on 253800 to arrange this if required
5. If you would like me to hold off on your regular cleans at present for whatever reasons please again either pm or call 253800 to advise me
6. I am currently unable to do interior window cleans and am only offering the water fed pole cleaning at this present time
7. I will be wearing disposable gloves 🧤- which will be changed in between every customer and I will also be sanitising my hands as well in between customers
8. I will be wearing a face mask 😷 at all times whilst carrying out my work

I am also able to do gutter cleans and jet washing of paths, decking and patios (i can also disinfect these areas if required at the same time using approved disinfectant)

I look forward to getting back to work and seeing you all soon even if it is through the window 😃 stay safe IOM lets keep up the good work of hopeful eradication of Coronavirus from our island again and us all getting back to some kind or normality in our wonderful Manx bubble again soon

A message to all my past, present and future customers unfortunately although we are a contactless service following this evening’s Government announcement of the Manx lockdown 2.0 we have to call a halt to our services once more whilst we as an island battle through this virus again
We will be back as soon as it is safely possible and we are allowed to and once again we will get your windows back sparkling yes its going to be hard for us but we beat the virus once on the IOM so LETS DO THE SAME AGAIN

Hi All
Following the Chief Ministers briefing on Monday I was hopeful I could get out to get all your windows sparkling for you and hopefully some jet washing (with approved disinfectant if required) in too to get all your decking, patios, etc looking lovely to be enjoyed in this beautiful weather (perfect for me to get lots of work in to catch up)
However unfortunately upon speaking to my insurance company they will not provide me with adequate cover at this time and so I am unable to get back out working just yet - I am taking advice from the federation of window cleaners in the UK and am looking into alternative insurance and hope I can get back to you all soon whilst of course adhering to social distancing and strict hygiene measures
I again apologise for any inconvenience caused by this and hope that you can bear with me until I hopefully get this issue sorted
I need to work to provide for my family but also I am sure you will all agree I need the relevant insurance cover in place to do so safely and the safety of my customers is paramount
Stay safe I WILL BE BACK as soon as viably possible

Apologies for the lengthy post - COVID-19 update to all my wonderful customers and any potential customers - at this stage we are currently still operating with stringent hygiene measures and practicing social distancing during this unknown period we encourage you to pay online and if you only have the ability to pay cash please drop us a message and we can arrange a safe place with you to leave the cash if you do wish to pay online our bank details are at the bottom of our invoices
If any of our customers need supplies due to self isolating and your windows are due please drop us a pm and we will try to assist if possible
Please do not be offended if you offer coffee or tea at these times all offers are being politely refused to protect ourselves and our customers
