MATERIAL BOARD - CROYDE PROJECT:

We are delighted to give you a sneak preview of one of the material boards from our Croyde project: a grade II listed thatched cottage.

The brief was to create a warm and welcoming holiday home in a classic design style, combining old and new.

This informed the sourcing and procurement of a carefully curated range of materials and finishes, which CCID managed.

If you need help selecting materials for your project, please reach out and get in touch. DM us or email [email protected].

COLOUR PALETTE - CROYDE PROJECT:

We are delighted to give you a sneak preview of the carefully curated colour palette for our latest project, a beautiful thatched cottage in the chocolate-box village of Croyde.

The sophisticated and soft colour scheme combines pretty pastels and muted neutrals with dusty and desaturated tones, creating a calm and vintage aesthetic.

CROYDE PROJECT:

We are delighted to give you a sneak preview of our latest project: a thatched cottage in the chocolate-box village of Croyde. The first phase included the renovation of five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Some projects are a blank canvas, whereas our lovely client in Croyde had a very clear concept and scheme in mind for the different spaces. These are some of her pins for the bathrooms.

We were so pleased that the client approached us, so we could turn her vision into reality. CCID led on the sourcing and procurement, as well as securing the trades and managing the project.

The first stage of the project is coming to a close. We can’t wait to share more about it and to start planning the second phase of work, which will include renovating the downstairs, starting with a new kitchen.

If you need inspiration for an interior design project or help bringing your vision to life, please get in touch. Either DM us or email [email protected]. Check out www.c-c-i-d.com for more information.

CCID are delighted to reveal the location of a project that we have been busy working on for the last year or so. It’s based in Croyde!

Croyde is a charming chocolate-box coastal village in Devon, with whitewashed thatched cottages and a stream that flows through it.

It is also home to a beautiful beach with golden sands, sky high dunes, rolling waves and spectacular coastal scenery.

The combination of the picture-postcard village and the world-class beach makes it one of the most iconic places in Devon.

Check back again soon, when we will give you a sneak peek of the interiors of this fantastic project.

If you need help designing a scheme for your project, please do reach out and get in touch. Either DM us or email [email protected].

CHARMING COTSWOLDS!

This summer, CCID enjoyed the delights of Calcot Manor, a stunning 14th century hotel in the Cotswolds.

It was the perfect pit stop for CCID’s sourcing trip. Have you ever visited this charming part of the Cotswolds countryside?

If you’re based in the Cotwolds and would like some interior design advice, please DM or drop us an email.

WELCOME!

CCID has had a flurry of new followers after completing some recent commercial and residential projects.

So, thought I would reintroduce myself as the face behind the company: Cassandra Chessum Interior Design.

I’m Cassandra, but most people call me Cassie. This is me in the photo over the summer in the Cotswolds.

I was born into a large family of antiques dealers and textile designers. It’s fair to say that interior design is in my blood.

So, it is no surprise that my earliest memories involve trailing after my parents as they searched for antiques in Chelsea.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in architecture, design and interiors.

After buying and renovating an 18th century thatched cottage by the coast, I decided to turn my passion into a career.

I have been working in interior design for the last 10 years, setting up CCID and creating beautiful and sustainable spaces.

Before studying and practicing interior design, I worked for over 15 years in sustainability and the built environment.

As a Director of a Public Affairs, I worked on projects related to climate change, energy, water and responsible sourcing.

Throughout my career to date, I have gained a set of transferable skills, making me an excellent project manager.

This ensures that I am well placed to complete interior design projects to time and to budget.

Plus my shrewd negotiating skills ensure that I can negotiate competitive prices with suppliers and trades people.

Outside of work, I am a devoted mother to two gorgeous children. I love swimming and sailing, as well as Pilates and meditation.

I split my time between the cosmopolitan city of London and the stunning coast and countryside of Devon and Cornwall.

If you need inspiration for a project, I would be delighted to discuss how we could turn this into a reality.

PROJECT TOUR - AMALFI BAR & CAFE:

We are absolutely delighted to share the photos of the rest rooms and staircase, which CCID designed for Amalfi Bar & Cafe. It is the epitome of sophistication.

CCID worked with a brilliant team of builders and tilers, electricians and plumbers, as well as artists and decorators to turn the concept into a reality.

The rest rooms feature beautiful blue and white patterned tiles, a navy blue vanity unit, as well as ribbed glass wall lights, placed either side of a round mirror.

The corridor boasts beautiful artwork, including a bespoke Amalfi-themed wall mural that wraps around the staircase, hand-painted from floor to ceiling.

The brief was to transport guests to the sun-drenched coastline of southern Italy. The client is so pleased with the result and the customer feedback.

If you need help designing a scheme for your commercial project, please do reach out and get in touch. Either DM us or email [email protected].
