The Sewing Barn Sewing workshops. Fabric and sewing accessories. Made to measure curtains and blinds
On A52 between Derby and Ashbourne. DE6 3AY Classes are bi weekly/monthly.

The Sewing Barn offers sewing classes in Patchwork and Quilting and Soft Furnishings. Classes are for complete beginners and people with more experience. Places must be paid for at the time of booking. As well as the regular classes I have one off special activity days, for example Free motion embroidery. The workshop has four large tables that c

omfortably seat two people ( one per table due to Covid rules) while still giving them ample room for equipment and sewing projects. In addition there is a cutting table, higher than the work tables, ideal for curtain making or basting a quilt also if you suffer from backache it is the ideal height to work at. I also offer a made to measure curtain and blinds service. I can visit your home to take measurements and provide advice, curtains delivered and hung if required.
