ONE WEEK TO GO 🎨🩶

In just one week, Ashbourne will be transformed by 100+ artists across 20+ venues for the very first Artbourne Art Trail.

We’re super proud to be one of the venues taking part and will be hosting the incredibly talented throughout the weekend.

📅 Saturday 30 May | 10.30am–4.30pm
📅 Sunday 31 May | 10.30am–3.30pm

Your £5 wristband includes:
✔ Access to every venue
✔ Trail map & Artist guide
✔ Over 100 artists to discover

As well as artwork, jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles, sculpture, printmaking and more, you’ll also find live demonstrations, free storytelling performances, live music and street food throughout the town.

🎟 Wristbands are available now from Handmade Design and will also be available throughout the weekend.

Whether you’re looking to buy original artwork, meet the makers, watch artists at work or simply enjoy a day out in Ashbourne, there’s something for everyone.

Spent today pulling together some Father’s Day gift ideas in the shop… and not a single “best dad” mug in sight 😂

One of the nice things about being in the shop so often is getting to see first hand what people actually stop, smell, pick up and buy — especially the men who wander in “just looking” and then end up obsessed with a Black Magic Soap 👀

So rather than just guessing what might work for Father’s Day, I’ve tried to build a collection around the scents, flavours and products that genuinely get a good reaction from dads in the shop.

Our botanical bath & body oils have just landed 🩶

Small batch made and thoughtfully blended using nourishing sweet almond and coconut oils, each one is infused with essential oils to help you slow down and take a moment for yourself.

New in — vintage cutlery rings 🩶

A small batch of vintage cutlery rings has just landed in the shop. Each one is slightly different, with its own pattern and shape — no two the same.

We’ve started with a mix of sizes and after a few early try ons (thank you if that was you), we’ve already got more being made in larger fits too.

So if you tried one and it wasn’t quite right, we’ve taken that on board.
