Behind the scenes at Betty’s Sewing Box! 🧵

After years of wearing every hat in the business, I’m slowly learning the art of handing a few over!

Building a lovely team, sharing the workload and trying to spend a little less time spinning plates and a little more time enjoying the creative side of Betty’s.

Still very much a work in progress… apparently delegation is a skill in itself! 😂❤️

A lovely creative morning at Betty’s with Donna, making beautiful textile hoops using a mixture of different techniques 🧵✂️

It has given us an idea…

We’d love to start a regular textile morning at Betty’s, perhaps meeting once a month. A relaxed, friendly get-together where you can experiment with different textile techniques, work on your own projects and enjoy creating alongside other people.

We have the studio, the sewing machines and plenty of ideas. You just need to bring yourself!

Happy Monday ! 🍁🎃🍁🎃As our half term workshop has filled up already we have added another session on the day . So we have spaces on the afternoon workshop which will be running from
2pm -5pm ! This includes refreshments and all materials and you can take away your own Halloween pumpkin ! 🎃🍁🎃🍁
