Whether that is vintage watches or decorative pieces, many of my items are very difficult to obtain and instantly catch you're eye (much like Black Opals!) All items viewable from us in Ashford Surrey. References available should you want a watch posted to you. For larger antique/vintage items you are more than welcome to arrange a courier at your expense but we accept no liability for any damages in transit. We accept Cash on collection or Bank Transfer. A fantastic rare vintage Spillers 'Shapes' Dog food pictorial tin advertising sign! Circa 1920/30s

It features a wonderful image of two excited terriers very eager to try the Spillers "Four Course Meal" of different flavoured dog biscuits.

A brilliant piece of early advertising and a scarcely seen example!

Another elusive Showmens Guild enamel Membership tablet added to the collection!

There was a different colour issued annually to show which members were up to date with their fees. Ireland was covered by the Guild and mentioned on the signs up until circa 1934/35 but were then no longer included after gaining further independence from Britain, hence the different wording on the later example.

A brilliant scarce antique Fry's Chocolate mirrored glass advertising fingerplate! Circa 1910s

In good all round condition for its age with a lovely contrast of colours.

Very tough to find nowadays. A great survivor!

A brilliant rare vintage novelty christmas Dunlop Golf ball tube! Circa 1930s

It depicts the well known Dunlop Man that was used for the advertising figures of the same era. The colourful tube holds 3 balls and the lid is in the clever form of a vintage golfers flat cap.

A great survivor and a very tough to find example nowadays!

A very rare and unusual antique enamel sign advertising "Hot Dinners from 12 till 2"! Circa 1890-1900s

A brilliant early sign that i haven't seen before. Back when your main meal of the day was at lunchtime before having a smaller meal or 'Supper' in the evening. Would've most likely come from an early cafe or even a charity like The Salvation Army.

A fantastic, possibly unique surviving enamel with great social history!

A fantastic rare and early antique Cadbury's Chocolate enamel advertising sign by Falkirk Iron! Circa 1890-1900s

I've not seen a red example of this variant before. Has the Cadbury Bros mark bottom left and the early makers mark on the right.

One of the earliest Cadbury signs out there. A very tough to find enamel in a great colour and size!

A very rare, possibly one off pair of shop window advertising display stands for Smiths Clocks and Watches! Circa 1953

These are in the form of two State Trumpeteers in ER uniform and were likely commissioned to be produced for a jewellers leading up to the Coronation of Elizabeth ll in 1953. Interestingly, during the same year and only a few days prior to the Queen's Coronation, Edmund Hilary famously reached the summit of Mount Everest wearing a Smiths De Luxe wristwatch.

Standing at just under half a metre tall, they are constructed of wood with the double sided Lithographed images bearing a 'Printed in England' mark at the bottom. Underneath one of the Trumpets is a Smiths slogan "The Unforgettable Gift" and very unusually, the other shows a detailed heraldry for Enniskillen Borough Council in Northern Ireland.

By repute, the previous owner purchased them from Garrard Crown Jewellers, Regent Street in the 1980s after they were due to be discarded but it's unknown as to their original origin.

An amazing looking pair of watch displays that i'd imagine are unique survivors!

A lovely scarce antique Lyon's Tea enamel advertising door fingerplate sign! Circa 1920s

It is in nice condition for its age with great gloss and is the more attractive example of the two variations produced.

A very striking little sign!
