Thought you might like to see the bedroom designs for my latest clients, Sasha (aged 12) and Anya (aged 9).

Firstly Sasha's room, she wanted sophisticated neutrals, a very grown up design.

Working with a reduced palette around Sasha's existing bed; unusually for me I used 3 pieces from the same range for a smart simplicity, only adding a couple of different items for interest. Those 3 pieces include rattan texturing though, creating dimension and definition, easily lost with such a reduced palette . . .

Next week we're at client Sandra's, redecorating her living room after a fire. It was originally very neutral and a little dull so Sandra asked for some ideas to add more colour working around her grey sofas and existing curtains.

You know me and mood boards, I was in my element 😉

We found a lovely Laura Ashley wallpaper in blue with a small simple print for the main walls, and a light blush textured paper for the alcoves that sit each side of the fireplace. The pattern for the main paper and colours are subtle enough to complement Sandra's existing curtains, but just in case she finds she can't live with 2 different patterns we've created a second board substituting the patterned curtains with dusky pink ones, changing the rug to a blue one for the Perfect balance👌

Here's the final reveal of Abi's office!

Walls that started with peeling wallpaper have been stripped, panelled and colour drenched, then we found the original floorboards under the carpet which have been sanded, filled, sanded again and stained.

Abi now has the Perfect office space 👌

Next week we're off to Devon to build wardrobes! Keep watching😘

WHICH COLOUR?🤔

I was approached by a local client over the weekend who wants her kitchen painted, the only issue being her worktop. She hates it 😝 but doesn't want the expense of changing it.

To give her an idea of how the kitchen could look I created colour fill collages of potential colours that would work with the worktop.
