Our units give the visual effect of single glazing, conforming to BS EN 1279/Part 2 , Part 3, the thermal efficiency is achieved by filling the cavity with inert gas, the u value of which will depend on the type of gas and glass used. These values range from 2.1 W/m2k to 1.3 W/m2k. Improved energy performance is also gained by using the industry acclaimed Edgetech Super Spacers that are available

in Black(recommended) or white. Apart from the improved thermal value. the spacers also help to reduce condensation and sound transference. Spacer options are 6mm (14mm Unit), 4mm (11mm & 12mm Units).

One of the ways we reduce waste is by returning all leftover sections of broken glass from our slim double glazed unit manufacturing process to our glass supplier, Pilkington. 🔄

Rather than heading to landfill, these glass offcuts are repurposed for tarmac and other construction applications — giving them a second life in a completely different form. 🏗️

Our warm edge spacers maintain sleek sightlines without compromising thermal performance. Choose from 6mm Heritage, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, and 11mm options.

For a perfect fit, we recommend deducting at least 3mm from the opening size to get the ideal unit size. The lower the U-value, the better the insulation and thermal efficiency.
