We loved this vibrant colour scheme for Olivia and Ian last summer at Brig O’Doon in Ayr.

Large urns, an extra long top table long and low arrangement and overflowing floral bowls in the centre of the tables as the perfect centrepieces - complimented by colourful candles.

All done in our signature abundant wild style, these wedding flowers were the perfect splash of summer colour for the venue.

We do love a Brig wedding as it means I can pop home for lunch 😂 I live two seconds away!

Top 5 horror movies in the life of a Scottish wedding florist ☠️ Aunt Karen also thinks she knows a thing or two about flowers 🫠

1. There’s peonies don’t open
2. The venue co-ordinated asks for a non existent corsage / maids bouquet
3. There’s also a decor company doing fake florals
4. There’s nowhere to get lunch and you forgot the fork for your (now very soggy) quinoa salad
5. Aunt Karen shows up two hours early to watch you build the ceremony installation

“My brief to Sonia was burnt orange colours and no roses & my god what she delivered I could never have imagined... I love the wildflower look of the flowers rather than tightly put together. My flowers matched everything to a tee and could not have asked for anything more perfect. Put your trust and faith into Sonia because she knows how to nail it!!!“

It’s funny how requests and trends come and go. I’ve not had many requests lately for anything hanging, but I love a feature cloud it can really transform the space and add extra interest to those seemingly blank spaces.
