After a good few weekends of hard work, a few long nights, and countless hours spent measuring, cutting, screwing, and assembling, the carpentry project I took on by myself has finally come to an end. What started as a rough idea on paper has now become something real—tangible and complete, crafted with my own two hands. Every nail driven and joint fitted reflects the patience and persistence it took to see this through. There were moments of frustration and setbacks along the way, but finishing this on my own has given me a deep sense of pride and accomplishment. Standing back and looking at the final result, I know every inch of it—because I built it.

Timber decking started today
Framework all done and ready for boards to go down tomorrow, w**d control down to kill and stop the grass and w**ds below, timber joists all treated and a coat of rain protection paint. Hopefully weather stays good tomorrow to get it finished 😁

Next project kicked off.
1 4ft fence
1 5ft fence
Timber decking
Side gate
New walkway
Started the next project this weekend. Managed to complete the 4ft fence. And the 5ft fence started posts and rails all ready and set on the 5ft fence ready for slats this weekend. Big project to take on but there’s never nothing to big or to small. I’ll get this garden looking its best in no time 😁

That’s the end of my first homer, I am very impressed with how it’s turned out aswell as the customer, this job went from a really old rotten timber decking, now it’s a Beutiful looking chocolate colour composite decking, this was a full rip out with a new joist layout all joists painted with weather proof paint to prevent rot on the timber over time, all went very well job was a good one 😀

Some progress made today brillant day for it bit to warm but who can complain, one side finished just the other side to do and it’s a finished project coming along nicely and customer is very happy 😀☀️
