We are fast approaching what we sweeps call "silly season". The time when everyone phones & asks "can you come & do a sweep this week?" Unfortunatly, no. We try to spread our work out over the year, so we can offer our customers a good service, but when we get to "Silly season" there is enevitably a queue.

This winter Dave has also got to have a long overdue operation on his shoulder, which will put him out of action for a while.

It’s rare but left in a chimney creosote can build up and form rock like lumps. Just one reason why prevention (ie annual sweeping) is better than cure (ie the fire brigade!)
