Beautiful boutique gift & flower shop based in Balfron

03/10/2026

All of the autumn colours…. My very favourite 🧡❤️💛

12/09/2026

Well, Balfron was a quiet little village today! 😢 Not every day is a busy one in a small business, and today was definitely one of those days.

There are a few lovely bouquets still available to purchase using the QR code in the window. And as always, I genuinely appreciate every single person who chooses to support my little business 🤍

For the list makers, note takers, garden dreamers & little bookworms 🌿📚✨

Our shelves are looking particularly lovely just now, with a gorgeous collection of books, notebooks, journals, planners & stationery in store.

From beautiful Cath Kidston stationery and RHS diaries, to gardening books, botanical card decks, classic children’s stories and Little People, BIG DREAMS — there are lots of lovely little gifts (including the kind you fully intend to give someone else and somehow end up keeping… 👀).

Perfect for birthdays, gifts, stocking up for the new term, or simply treating yourself to something pretty for your desk.

Pop in for a browse 💐

These are NOT end-of-week / past-their-best flowers.. they’re fresh stock, made specifically for you to pick up while I’m not there 🤍

Just choose your favourite and scan the QR code to pay.. nice and easy.

Perfect for a Sunday treat, a wee gift, or simply because your kitchen table deserves flowers 🌿🌸

🚨 A wee warning to other local businesses… 🚨

Today our shop was targeted with a fake £20 note.

The woman wasn’t local. She came in, picked up the very first card she touched, handed over a fake £20 note to pay for it, took over £17 in genuine change, and left. It felt very much like the card was simply a way of turning fake money into real money.

I’ve since heard she also went into the Post Office, McFarlane’s hardware store and the Co-op, so please keep your eyes peeled if you’re accepting cash.

It’s hard enough for small independent businesses like mine to survive without people deliberately targeting us like this. It’s not just the financial loss.. (though small) it’s the fact someone walked into my shop with the intention of scamming me. If I’m honest, it almost ruined my day.

Please take a few extra seconds to check £20 notes before accepting them, and if you own or work in a local business, let your colleagues know too.

We’re all trying our best to make an honest living. It’s awful that we even have to think about things like this.

Also… just a little thank you to one of my lovely regular customers who came in shortly afterwards.

We chatted, she asked about my family (especially my son Luke), and she genuinely reminded me that for every person out there trying to take advantage, there are so many more who are kind, thoughtful and good.

I’m incredibly grateful for every one of my wonderful customers. You turned what had become a really rubbish day into a much better one. ❤️

Just a few of the beautiful things that have found their way into the shop lately… 🌸 Fresh flowers, pretty homewares and little pieces to make your home feel special.

If you’ve been meaning to pop in, we’re open as usual until Saturday, then we’ll be closing for our summer break and reopening on Thursday 30th July. ☀️

We’d love to see you before we go! 🤍
