Wh**ky memorabilia items don’t stay in the shop very long! Here’s an interesting figure advertising Teacher’s wh**ky using an academic with gown, mortar board and scroll, the latter used to promote the wh**ky. Can’t believe this would resonate with punters today though. Interesting how times change!

Forget about the books - shelves are the perfect place to display ceramics so what have we got here? Nice 19th century Spode toilet jug and bowl, Wally dogs (who doesn’t need a pair of these and they’re back in fashion again) attractive slip decorated vases and a lovely hand decorated Italian tin glaze dish in the Renaissance style. Eclecticism to a T!

These mid century Florentine micro mosaic brooches are always popular with our vintage brooch collectors. Made as tourist souvenirs they represent a continuation of an Italian craft tradition dating back to the Roman period. This one takes the form of a miniature lute!
