Postcards from my trip 📷

Turns out all I needed was a trip to the sea to feel myself again. Essence is the best thing I've ever done for myself, but amongst it all, I lost myself trying to survive. This trip has inspired me so much, to take time and slow down and see that the grass is actually very green on my side of the fence. 🌱

Comparison, internal pressure and the fear of never doing enough is something I struggle with daily, but taking time out to just focus on me has recalibrated my brain 🫶

I'm feeling so refreshed and ready to get stuck back into Essence. The biggest thing I am grateful for coming back from this trip, is that I don't have to go back to work for a toxic environment, I get to go back to the shop and work for me ⭐️❤️

Although, I have fallen in love with Croatia and would love to go back! Just for one more week pleaseeee 🤭

Let me introduce us. 😊
I'm Tamara and this is Tilly, my inspiration for setting up this little business.
Having worked at Aylesbury Prison for the past 10 years, supporting the men to learn skills to help them move away from offending behaviour, I lost my job during a restructure.
I was devastated! Loved that job!
But sometimes these things happen for a reason, and during my anxiety about finding a new job, I thought about what I love doing.
Being outside, being with dogs, walking, its what I've always done..and it all dropped into place. So here I am, with our sassy little inherited Lancashire Heeler Chihuahua cross Tilly and the support of my wonderful family, building Tails and Trails.
