Big Thank you to dean and his wife from hyde hives for delivery of this Stunning 8 x 5 frame nuc and an even bigger thank you to my darling wife for the surprise x

Each nucs divided by a removable board, si you can open them up from 8 individual spaces to just one or any number in between.
Now to see how if fairs against the Scottish weather.

Decided to try black plastic foundation as it looked better to see eggs on, definitely pleased with the result so far, did have to coat in additional wax, the bees seem to be drawing it out nicely.

🌼 A little moment of magic in the apiary… 🌼🐝
One of my girls hard at work, covered in pollen and making the rounds on these beautiful chamomile blooms. Every flower visit is a tiny step in the incredible journey from blossom to honey.

Watching the bees forage, gather, and do what they do best is a reminder of how connected everything is — the flowers, the bees, and the seasons. 💛
