Here’s some recent before and afters of my first official job back working for myself. It was a lovely job, and super pleased with just how excellently Little Greene was to work with. These walls were freckled with damp, so all walls in this old chapel were cleaned and treated before a generous amount of top coat.

Reflecting on the last six months of working for myself, I definitely feel a sense of achievement. It has been hard work and a lot of learning and at times it has shown me what I’m really made of!
I am so insanely grateful to everyone who has supported me. Support has been received in so many ways little unthinkable ways. Every “like”, or enquiry or every “well done” has really encouraged me during this process. I am so grateful for for each and everyone of you (more than I’d be able to describe in a Facebook post).
I’m away now for a short period, but I will be back in the game soon with updates of my availability for the rest of the year.

I wasn’t expecting this under the wall paper…
It was good fun converting this spare bedroom into Amy’s home office. We stripped off the old wallpaper to find a funky mural of a tree! The plaster was then mist coated, ceilings touched up, along with the skirting boards to make this office a bright and calming place to work 🌞 I love discovering a previous owners design choice, it’s as if I’ve unearthed a brief history of the house!

I have been busy! It was such a pleasure to work for this lovely Bangor couple. Over a few stages, I have given their hallway a total makeover. The bannister, all the architraves and skirtings, and now finally the walls and ceilings! Delyth and Gavin have been a pleasure to work for, and it has been immensely rewarding to have a returning customer (3 times!).
