✨ A New Arrival at Y Sbôr Aur ✨
Some pieces don't need reinventing. They just need waking up.
This beautiful early 20th-century oak sideboard arrived looking rather tired, its grain and hand-carved floral details hidden beneath years of dullness.
A careful clean, a little beeswax, and the discovery of its original carved gallery back later… and look at it now. 🤎
Dating approximately to the 1920s–30s, it features three central drawers, twin cupboards, turned supports and wonderful carved detailing throughout. Most importantly, we've resisted the temptation to over-restore it — the knocks, wear and patina remain part of its story.
It has a key for the left cupboard, the right key is off having its own story but the cupboard is unlocked.
