Our show colourway for the Newark Knitting and Wool Show is Aegir 💚💜💙 named after the Trent Aegir, a spring tidal bore on the River Trent that was named after the Norse God of the Ocean. We have is on a selection of bases including sock, dk, slub and lace 😀

Really looking forward to the in just under two weeks time. Today I've dyed some Avalon, Aspen and Athena to restock the gridwall and I've finally dyed a pan of Poinsettia - only been saying since last Christmas I need to restock it 🙈

Ozzie and I went to drop off a bag of yarn to Karl at Alterknit Universe in Cleeve near Bristol today. I love how cute the shop is and it was so nice to have a catch up with Karl ###x

Our next show is the Newark Knitting and Wool Show woolshow in September, bit too hot to dye yarn in my shed so I'm working on restocking project bags instead 😀

We are back home, a long old drive but we're here safely - and after seeing the aftermath of an accident we a very grateful to be home safely. A massive thank you to Nick and Natasha and their amazing team , all the vendors - most are classed as friends now and to all the visitors who took the time to come and say hello, there was hugs and laughter and lots of yarn squishing and a good number of skeins were rehomed this weekend and went off with their new owners, I really hope you all enjoy working with your purchases. Tomorrow I have a hospital appointment but Tuesday I will be back at the dye pots working on this weekends orders. See you next month in Newark Knitting and Wool Show

Such an incredible first day at North East Wool Show in Newcastle. So many pretties have gone off to new homes, still got plenty left for day two tomorrow 😀
