☀️ SUMMER INSPIRATION ☀️

With the sunshine set to continue, we've been dreaming up beautiful outdoor dining ideas here at Niche. 💙
All the beautiful items pictured are in store and ready for you to create the perfect summer table.

These gorgeous summer salads look right at home served in our Mediterranean-inspired bowls and serveware, surrounded by lanterns, candles and all those little finishing touches that make dining outdoors feel extra special.

🍉 Watermelon, Feta & Mint Salad

• ½ watermelon, cubed• 200g feta, crumbled• ½ cucumber, diced• Handful fresh mint, chopped• Juice of 1 lime• Olive oil & black pepper

Simply mix together and serve chilled. Fresh, colourful and perfect for warm summer evenings.

🇬🇷 Classic Greek Salad

• 4 large tomatoes, chopped• 1 cucumber, sliced• 1 red onion, thinly sliced• 100g black olives• 200g feta, cubed• 2 tbsp olive oil• Splash red wine vinegar• 1 tsp oregano

Combine all ingredients, drizzle with the dressing and enjoy alongside grilled meats, fish or simply some warm crusty bread.

Beautiful sunshine yesterday and it’s set to be hot hot hot again today ☀️🌿

I spent the afternoon planting up some of our gorgeous new outdoor pots that have just arrived at Niche and honestly… how dreamy do these succulent bowls look 😍 Scroll back and see the LIVE from yesterday.

These low terracotta bowls are perfect for multi planting and creating that relaxed Mediterranean garden feel. We’ve filled them with a mix of Echeverias and Sempervivums — super easy to care for and perfect for sunny spots.

Just plant using a mix of compost and grit as they love a well-drained soil ☀️

💚NICHE X ROSE🩷
After 15 wonderful years of Interiors, a very special new chapter begins 🤍

Alyson started the Niche Interiors business from scratch 15 years ago, growing it into a hugely loved and successful part of Niche, helping create beautiful homes across the region.

Now, after 10 years working alongside her, Alice will be taking over the Interiors side of the business and launching her new venture, Rose Interiors, based in Barnard Castle.

Whilst Rose Interiors will operate independently, we’re so excited to continue working collaboratively together on future projects — combining beautiful interiors with our carefully curated homeware collections at Niche.

As one chapter evolves, another begins, with exciting renovations and expansion currently happening at Niche ahead of our 15th birthday celebrations in September 🤍 Alyson will also now be spending more time in the shop alongside daughter Victoria and the team, which we know many of our lovely customers will be delighted to hear.

We’re incredibly proud of both Alyson and Alice and can’t wait to see what the future holds for both businesses.

Yesterday I created my first garden tray of 2026 and you know the Niche ladies love a tray 🌿✨

With the sunshine finally making an appearance, we’ve had the most beautiful delivery of plants arrive into store alongside a gorgeous collection of outdoor pots — all frostproof — plus wire trays, tea light holders and garden accessories perfect for creating relaxed summer styling ready for the bank holiday weekend.

Think layered terracotta pots, candlelight for summer evenings and beautiful little garden corners styled for outdoor living 🤍
