🌸 The side of floristry you don’t see in the pictures… 🤍
This week has been a real reminder of the highs and lows of what we do.
One minute, I’m creating flowers for a wedding, full of love and new beginnings. The next, I’m creating tributes for families facing the hardest goodbye. 💔
People see the finished flowers, but they don’t always see the emotion, the thought, the responsibility or the love that goes into every single stem.
Floristry isn’t always pretty pictures and beautiful blooms. Sometimes it’s incredibly heartbreaking, and sometimes it’s a privilege that’s hard to put into words.
To everyone who has trusted me with such precious moments this week, thank you. I truly hope every arrangement has brought a little of what you needed it to. 🤍
And to my fellow florists, I think you’ll understand. We don’t just arrange flowers; sometimes, we hold a little piece of someone else’s story in our hands. 🌸
