A new ceiling lamp finished in the studio ✨
This piece was inspired by geometric Art Deco lighting. I wanted to create something elegant and calm, with a soft glow and a strong architectural feel. The deep green border frames the opal glass and the small jewel details add a bit of sparkle when the light is on. I chose this shade of green to complement the deep dark green sofa in the living room.
Designed, cut, foiled and soldered by hand, piece by piece.
I always love the moment when the lamp finally goes up on the ceiling and the glass comes to life. ☺️
