A sunny October afternoon, something warm to drink, a comfy chair and nowhere you particularly need to be…

Sounds pretty good to us.

You might need a jumper rather than shorts, but we're not giving up on the garden just yet. 😉

8am: Definitely coat weather.
11am: Quite nice actually.
1pm: Why am I wearing a coat? ☀️
3pm: Is that rain?
5pm: Yep. Definitely autumn. 😂

The garden doesn't suddenly become out of bounds just because September has finished.

A retractable awning gives you a little more flexibility to make the most of those surprisingly lovely autumn days — because when the sun does make an appearance, it would be rude not to enjoy it!

**The entire street being able to see what you're having for dinner: NO. 👀**

This is precisely why we love shutters.

Tilt them to let the daylight in while keeping a little privacy from the outside world.

Especially useful if you have particularly… *observant* neighbours. 😂

**Things nobody tells you about having shutters…**

You will adjust them by approximately 3mm and somehow decide the whole room looks better.

You will admire the shadows they make when the sun comes through.

You will occasionally look at somebody else's windows and think:

*"Shutters would look good there."*

Or maybe that's just us. 😂
