I’ve been a little quiet here lately…after a hectic past few months, the Family Hook headed to France in Suzy the campervan for a little rest and relaxation.

We enjoyed a particularly frustrating eclipse (clear skies until the vital moment when a large cloud descended!) at the top of a mountain. We swam, wandered through Montpellier, discovered beautiful tiny villages along winding roads, explored caves, and drank wine under the stars. Not bad at all really.

Thank you Suzy for getting us safely over a few thousand kilometres. Thank you to my lovely family for all managing to remain civil in such a small space. Thank you to Anna for holding the fort whilst I was away and thank you France. You’ve been beautiful 🇫🇷

I’ve been a little lax on my shares so let me come back with a beautiful bang and introduce

Based in the creative town of Frome, Somerset, Kerry is the creative force behind Ginger Pink Yarns.

She works with British breed wool and uses plants foraged locally or grow in her garden - think goldenrod, rhubarb root, walnuts, and dock. These give rise to a gorgeous palette of seasonal colours that blend beautifully together.

Hopefully, you’ll be able to find these delicious yarns in The Left Hookery studio very shortly but in the meantime, pop over to Kerry’s socials for more information 🧶
