Hello, I am Clare and thank-you for popping by, I have always been interested in art and all things creative, and love nothing more than seeing the look on peoples faces and hearing feedback on how pleased people are when they receive my work. Everyone of my creations is decorated by hand and made to order, it is a job I am passionate about, every gift and memory I create is made with a love of what I do. It's plain and simple, I love what I do and believe it shows in the work I produce.

It’s been a while since I picked up a paintbrush. Life gets in the way sometimes, doesn’t it? 🤍
But today I picked up my brushes again with a little Christmas idea in mind… 🎄🐾
So, what do you think?

Some paintings mean a little more than others. 🐾🤍
This is Timmy. A very special boy who recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈
This portrait was painted as a special way to remember him and to capture those little details that made him so loved.
It’s moments like this that remind me exactly why I love painting pets — creating something that can keep a much-loved companion close, forever. 🤍
Run free, Timmy.
Forever loved, forever missed, never forgotten. 🐾🌈

🐾 A portrait to keep forever 🤍
There’s something so special about having a painting of a much-loved dog — capturing their personality, those little details you know so well, and creating something you can keep long after the photo has been forgotten.
This is one of my favourite dog portraits I’ve painted, and it’s a reminder of exactly why I love what I do. 🎨🐶
If you’ve ever thought about having your own dog painted, I’d love to create something special for you. 🤍

It all starts with a photo... 🐾
A single photograph becomes hours of studying every little detail—the sparkle in their eyes, the direction of their fur, the shape of their nose, and those tiny features that make them completely unique.
My aim is never just to paint a dog. It's to capture their personality and create something their family will treasure forever.

Every portrait starts with a simple pencil sketch... ✏️🐾
This one is especially close to my heart, so I'll be keeping the finished painting under wraps for now. I can't wait until I can share it with you. 🤍

As promised... the outtakes! 🤣🐾
Getting the painting finished was the easy part...
Convincing my model to pose next to it was a completely different story! 😂
Safe to say he wasn't quite as impressed with the finished portrait as I was! 🤍🎨
Which photo is your favourite?

Which one makes you smile the most? 🐾

The moment I finally managed to persuade him to sit next to his portrait… 😂🐾
It took a lot of treats (and a lot of patience!), but I couldn't resist taking this photo.
Seeing him beside the finished painting makes me realise just how special this one has been to create. 🤍
Which do you think looks more unimpressed… him or his portrait? 😄

A little closer look at my finished portrait... 🐾🤍
I thought I'd share a little video so you can see some of the details and brushwork up close.
This one was painted from a photo of my own dog, which made it extra special to work on. 🎨
I really enjoyed bringing him to life on the canvas. 🤍
Pet portrait commissions are now open — if you'd like a painting of your own special pet, please feel free to send me a message. 🐾

Finished 🐾🤍
I'm so happy to finally share the finished portrait of my dog.
This one has been such a special painting to work on, and I've really enjoyed seeing his personality come through with every layer and brushstroke.
Thank you for following along with this one and for all the lovely comments and encouragement along the way. It means so much to me. 🤍

It's all in the little details... ✨🐾
I'm at the stage where I'm slowing down and adding the finishing touches to bring this portrait to life. It's amazing how just a few tiny brushstrokes can make such a difference.
This one is extra special because it's a portrait of my own dog, and I'm really enjoying seeing his personality come through.
Nearly there now... 🤍
Thank you for following along with this one.
