A brand new workshop at Tanzee Designs this month. A lovely flat 16 strand braid recently converted to the disk. Made using Italian Soutache and seed beads, it makes for a soft wearable cuff bracelet. My first newsletter of 2026 - I guess better late than never 😀

Finally we are starting to see glimpses of spring after months of rain. Here in the UK is really doesn't seem to have stopped, there are places that have had rain everyday day for over 50 days, its been so depressing.

And just in time I'm done for 2025.
My bead mats are clear and my bags of selected beads and threads are empty. I've finished the last of the samples for my February workshop and even written up the instructions, my last 2 Hermione bracelets are off the disk and actually have clasps (sorry Jamie North, blatant copy of your fabulous jet and silver version) and totally unbelievably my 3 year old Helical workshop sample has finally been finished.
I've had an amazing 2025, loving every moment of braiding both at in person and zoom workshops but it is so nice to know that I will be starting 2026 with a clean slate and space for new ideas and plans.

I've just realised I forgot to post this from my last workshop of the year at Tanzee.
A great fun day playing with colour and different braids with my Melez combination bracelet. I love seeing the colours that everyone comes up with.

Oh wow there was a period back in the summer when I really didn't think I would ever be doing these again. It was so daunting as I really didn't know what the future held, but the last month has been amazing, I'm so much happier now that all the processes are in place and I understand how everything...

Another wonderful day at Tanzee Designs yesterday, much laughter, chatting and braiding - what could be a better way to spend a wet Saturday in October.
I was so pleased they finished either their Riccio necklaces or the matching bracelet. Shame I couldn't open my phone afterwards due to the amount of glue left on my fingers after attaching all their clasps 🤣🤣🤣

I had a fabulous day at Tanzee Designs yesterday with my Riccio workshop. I'm truly not certain that I have laughed so much in many a month. I loved it, it was such fun, I really do love my days at Tanzee.
Sorry not great piccies but for once I did actually remember to actually take a few. it really was a fun day
