Pride matters to me because it’s the reason that I’m alive and able to build a happy, healthy life with my husband today. I want to ensure the same is possible for future generations of LGBTQ+ people and you should to. Our community is embedded in every area of society and always has been, whether people like it or not. It feels in many ways like attitudes towards LGBTQ+ people are regressing lately, however, we mustn’t let that silence us. I’m using that as fuel to share more of my life, relationship and queerness, in hopes to remind people that we are worthy of living and loving we love. I hope regardless of if you’re a part of the community, a friend of, or an ally, you can do the same.
