Woohooo!!

The reason we came to the Isles of Scilly is because my youngest read a Michael Morpurgo book which was based here & he decided he wanted to come to see the puffins & the lighthouse in the story... so today's tour to the islands around St Agnes did not disappoint!

And I'm afraid there's a few more photos to come, my insta will be full of beautiful blue seas, sky & wildlife.

And we're off to the Isles of Scilly! Already we've seen guillemots, razorbills, gannets, a dolphin... & also bumped into a friend from uni on board that we haven't seen for almost 10 years! But not here come the bigger waves... wish us luck! 😂

Typical bank holiday weekend right?! We just built a new egg / swing seat to chill in the garden only for it to start fully tipping it down!! So I've rigged up a cover & I'm staying put because I'm not a fairweather anything, my garden seems to be getting greener as I watch & it's really very relaxing listening to the rain 🤣 plus I'm kind of stuck here now!!

It's been a funny week.... I've been stuck inside a lot & feeling very cooped as my youngest has chickenpox. In contrast, he's loved staying home & doing absolutely nothing 🤣 it's been cold but at least I can look out at the garden starting to come to life. These ceramic seedhead cane toppers are looking lovely with the tulips flowering around them. Time to make some more varieties I think!
