We work very closely with our glassblowing studio, where our handmade stained glass roundels are produced for use in our glass windows. In our main shop opposite the Roman Baths, we have a great example of a roundel window on public display. Roundels were one of the first types of stained glass used in windows. The glass is blown and made into a big, flat circle and then cooled before being cut into small pieces and glazed with lead. The middle of the roundel is known as the bullseye. Today a lot of people want the bullseye in their stained glass as proof of their authenticity and handmade nature.
