Rescuing slightly weary vegetables is our jam… or should we say ketchup! 🫜🍅🌶️

Watch Rob whip up beetroot and chipotle ketchup which hit the spot perfectly on the side of our creamy potato pie last week 😋

HAF summer workshops ☀️

This summer we’ve been out and about running cookery workshops as part of Holiday Activity and Food Programme - inviting young people into the kitchen… lots of chopping , chatting, tasting, trying news things, learning something new and having fun.

We’ve been making Fruit kebabs 🍓 rainbow salad jars 🌈 mexican inspired dishes 🌮 and rock cakes 🍰

Lots of fun and absolutely delicious!

What we’ve been cooking lately… Simple & delicious!

Each week our menu is a bit of a surprise… even to us. We pick up our surplus donated ingredients from our wonderful local suppliers, decide on a menu and get cooking. Focus is colourful & tasty! A couple of hours later it all comes together, a three course veggie meal from scratch and a room full of people sharing a space and enjoying a meal together!

Greek salad 🥗
Black pepper tofu 🖤
Cauliflower houmous 🧄
Courgette and lemon cake 🍋
Herby bean and potato mash 💚

Everyone is welcome at our weekly suppers, we’d love to see you there.

GUY’S WEEKLY REVIEW ⭐

9.6 this week from our very own Guy!

Last night’s supper in Twerton - Cauliflower houmous with caramelised red onions to kick things off… black pepper tofu, charred green beans and basmati rice… then a courgette and lemon cake with fresh raspberry sorbet to finish🍋

Super delicious… and amazing what comes together in just a few hours!

Come for the food, come for the community, come to try something new ✨

Each week we turn surplus ingredients from brilliant local supplies into a three course menu and colourful vegetarian meal that brings people together.

We want to create the time and space for people to connect with each other - good company and good conversation over good food!

Everyone is welcome and you can enjoy a meal on us or pay what you feel to support the community meals and our cookery workshops.

You’ll find us in Radstock every Wednesday and Twerton every Thursday.
