Everything you need to know about the advent calendar before going online tomorrow, the 16th of October at 5pm🎄

⭐️ it’s presale only! The advents will dispatch the week the 9th of November, emails will be sent once dispatched with tracking details and links.

⭐️ 24 beady presents inside all tailored towards making the ‘Merry Christmas’ beaded garland, along with other beady gifts in there too!

⭐️ A video will be gifted in the advent each week (with a chocolate) for you to do the next part of the project. Or you can watch all the videos together at the start if you prefer.

⭐️ you can bead the garland in gold, silver or a mixture of the 2 metallics. Everything is inside just use the beads want to and the others are left over for you to play with at a later date.

⭐️ it’s £150 and included shipping, it will ship to the USA but not Europe (sorry!!)

Knit & Stitch 2026, what a wonderful week it’s been!!

4 days of being in my own little beady shop, talking to all of you about my favourite thing in the world🧚🏻‍♀️ It’s been a dream☺️

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped to say something lovely or shopped with me🩷 & it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces too!! I had lots of conversations with customers who have followed the business for a while and have loved seeing the business grow🥰 these shows are ALOT of hard work and these lovely conversations make it all feel worth it 100 times over☺️☺️☺️

I’m so sad it’s all over for another year!!

But I’ve got lots to keep me busy; this week I’ll get the advent calendar online for presale, the beaded motif kit will launch online and some extra bits left over from the show (mystery bead bags & linen remnants) will go online too🧚🏻‍♀️ I’m aiming this this all to be up by the weekend☺️

Hello from the Knit & Stitch Show🧚🏻‍♀️ it’s been such a fun past few days and I’m super excited for the weekend🥳

THE beaded galrand has gone down a treat, giving you lots of inspo for your own beading projects!

24 beady pressies to make a beaded Merry Christmas Garland ad you count down to Christmas💫 Each present is tailored towards making the garland and includes; beautiful bead mixes, the best tools to make this garland (including some fancy embroidery scissors with the finest point!) and some beautiful velvet ribbon to finish the garland with☺️ There are of course some extra beady goodies along the way too, including mystery bead bundles, a beautiful needle minder, haberdashery extras and some chocolate to munch while you bead🧚🏻‍♀️

At Knit & Stitch the advents will be available to pre order for a special show price of £140, instead of the RRP of £150. After the show they will then go online for presale for £150. The advent make is a Merry Christmas beaded garland🎄 if you hadn’t already guessed, from my not so subtle posts🤣 I was too excited to keep it a secret!

You can bead the garland in either all gold, all silver or a mixture of the 2. Which is what I’ve done here✨ I will be beading both for you to see, I’m currently working on them now🧚🏻‍♀️

I have a brand new course at Royal School of Needlework next year! & it may be my favourite piece I have ever beaded😍🐠🦐

I have been SO excited to share this piece with you! I feel like I can really see fish swimming in this one🐠🐳🦞

The course runs on 2 dates, the 8th-9th of May and 24th-25th of July in 2027. Hopefully you can join me there!

It’s jam packed full of techniques and the workshop will be taught over 2 days. On the first day we’ll learn all the techniques on a practise hoop and then once happy with all the techniques, you’ll choose your colour palette for your final hoop. Choosing from a large array of beads, sequins, threads and fabric🧚🏻‍♀️

& on the final day it’s all about beading the hoop and bringing your coral scene to life through colour and texture!

The beaded motif kit🌟

It’s all ready to launch at Knit & Stitch next week and will go on the website shortly after. It’s a beautiful make, beading each embellishment one at a time to complete the hoop. There are 4 main embellishments taught and then several mini ones too. It’s a delightful hoop for both beginners and confident beaders💫

This feels like my most sophisticated kit yet. I’ve even shown you how to finish the back with a piece of felt too - something I’m often asked for!

There are plenty of beads inside and you’ll have lots left over to play with, along with a large bead mat which is so very handy!!

Can’t wait to share this hoop with you at the show☺️🌟🥰💫

the imogen melissa advent calendar is back for the second year running🎄🌟

The finished make is something I have been daydreaming about for YEARS, it has been so much fun to make my ideas come to life with this years advent☺️ I’m thrilled with the final make and think you will be too💫 It’s quite clear what it is from these photos (I couldn’t help myself but share!) but I’m saving the full reveal until later this week😄😄

It’s quite a project but it can be broken down into manageble chunks, which is guided via the video instructions in the advent. I also love the idea of a family beading this one together, you can each work on a letter each, making the make even more special🎄
