The Jane Austen Festival has ended for another year. It has been a joyous celebration of this much loved author, her works and the period in which she lived. It is a really special time in Bath and I do love welcoming customers to the shop in full period costume. But don’t worry we sell some lovely Jane Austen inspired gifts in store 😊 all year round. 💐🌸🌺 In other exciting news we have a new ceramic collection just arrived in the shop. This collection of trinket dishes, jugs and vases are by Nic Comrie -Potter made in her studio in Somerset. Nic specialises in Botanical imprints in earthenware clay using a wide range of plants and flowers imprinted and then hand painted🌷🌻🌼.

Here’s a little snippet of what’s in store - we have new seagrass placemats and coasters in earthy tones from and beautiful handmade glass garden birds just flew in from so do pop in. You never know what you will find… open until 5.30 today. Closed Sundays.

It’s another very hot sunny day in Bath and so I am pleased to show off these gorgeous original mixed media artworks from local artist . Fabulous blooms painted on recycled and reclaimed frames. I think we would all like to be diving into a nice cool swimming today. The blue water looks so inviting!!. 😊☀️🕶️ We have decided to close a little bit earlier today at 3.30pm due to the heat but we will be back open at 10am tomorrow.
