When Dale, & I had our first consultation I knew instantly that she would be a dream client. Anyone that says they want to be surrounded by beautiful seasonal wild flowers is a winner for me. Dale already had quite a clear vision of the style and vibe she was after. She wasn’t fussed on which exact flowers I used or any particular detail. She put her trust in me, knowing I had worked Wickerwood Farm | wedding & wellbeing venue many times and had a deep understanding of what works there. Weaving what the venue needs to really come alive for an event of this size with what Dale dreamed for her big day was the sweet spot. Trusting me to find that allows the sprinkling of magic to happen.
So for now, here are a few beautiful images of the bridal flowers and Dale preparing for her magical day.

A moment for Jess & Jamie who got married back in August 🌸💞💛

The rain poured the morning of their wedding but as you can see from the photos it cleared for photos outside with beautiful smiles and happy faces all round. I’m good friends with Jess’ mum so creating these flowers felt even more special for me.
They got married in the beautiful and very old Mountfield Church in East Sussex with some really pretty seasonal locally grown blooms. Thanks Dawn Fisher for asking me to be part of Jess & Jamie’s beautiful day & congratulations again to Jess & Jamie💞

When the power went out at the weekend I had a choice. Do chores or play with leftover flowers. I started with the chores but got distracted by the flowers. No surprises there! The lack of any phone signal or wifi meant I could have a play with my camera settings too. Not something I often get time to do. Results are in and out of a lot of photos and videos these are the few I whittled it down to. Swipe through to see the making of the arrangement. Loving the mustard tones in this one 💛 Just need a cool bar for it to sit on. It’s a bit massive!

WREATH RESUMÉ
Wreaths recently & years gone by. A few favourites from the simple to the sublime. Which one’s your favourite?

I’ve been making and teaching how to make wreaths for a very long time. I’d like to think that I know what I’m doing now after creating so many and therefore quite well qualified to teach you how you can make one yourself. I’ll be making wreaths to order this November for Christmas and holding some very festive workshops this December Wickerwood Farm | wedding & wellbeing venue
We only have one place left on Saturday 12th December 1.30-4pm now as it all booked up very fast. If you’d like to join us I’ll pop the link in my stories. If there is a group of you that would like to attend get in touch as we may be able to add another session in for you.

Yep, the ‘mums got me.

Grown by the fabulous & arranged by me. I remember being a bit blown away the first time I saw a Chrysanthemum like this. I’d only ever seen the every day ones which I’m not a fan of. But these 😍I’m a big fan of these! Plus they are in flower really late in the year so it brings some seasonal colour and interest when everything else has pretty much finished. What’s not to love? Are you a fan too? The season’s just starting now so expect to see more of these beauties 🌸
