With schools back, we're definitely full into Autumn 🍁🍂 Always inspired by nature, amazing the fungi I see on my walks and my squashes that finally grew on the allotment🎃. It's been a fun summer experimenting on my new allotment. Especially around "Zero Food Miles, I'm naming it "From Allotment to Plate"✨😊
After a good friend convinced me to take on an allotment (which was very overgrown!) we got to work and it's amazing how quickly things started to grow! (although the heatwave was a challenge)
From strawberry patch to pan, to jam jars - it so tastes of Summer!! Delicious. 🍓🌱
Made lots more jam, shared with family & friends .... Blackberry, Fig & Lemon, Orange and Blackcurrant Jam. Now onto the Damson Chutney and soon Cranberry Sauce Gift Sets to try at the Christmas Markets.🎄 What will be my next adventure at the allotment ..?☺

🍓🍓Can I say "Farm to Plate" for strawberries from my allotment🍓🍓 ...with zero food miles! So glad my friend convinced me to get an allotment a few months ago, certainly a lot of weeding needed, but it's already bearing fruit!😄 - it just tastes of summer, available on my stalls at the next Summer Markets. Can't wait for the damsons to make jams and chutneys and the tomatoes, courgettes and beans to ripen! 🌱
