Lace tablecloth upcycled bag ♻️🌸💗 Bias binding is not my friend but I’ve learnt some new tricks today! This was my second time attempting a lace bag as I knew I needed to use some techniques to strengthen the bag, and I think I’ve finally nailed it! What do you think?

We’ve got some BIG old plans in the works baby boy ✨

I thought I’d do a little life update on here as I’ve not posted much this past year and a lot has changed! So thank you for sticking around and hello to any new followers! 👋🏼

My name is Dani, I’m 32 years old and I live in Bedfordshire. The Weepy Sweetpea was created when I was going through a stage of deep grief (still am, always will be) and so the name comes from the fact that I cry a lot and my birth flower is a sweetpea. I recently became a first time Mummy to my little boy Sonny. I can’t believe he’s already 3 months old, where has the time gone?! This photo was taken on my first Mother’s Day! 💗

I initially used this account to post my creative projects but that quickly moved onto me upcycling using secondhand fabrics and selling on Etsy and at craft fairs which was super fun and I met some lovely people through doing so! It was also incredible for calming my busy mind. I plan to continue doing this in the future, but I also have an exciting side venture coming soon. Of course, keeping with sustainability in mind ♻️ a small clue is that it may be for your little ones, but it doesn’t have to be!

This weekend I dropped off some stock at the absolutely gorgeous Spring store in Norwich 🌸💗 it was so lovely to meet Victoria and I can’t wait to see how she styles the shop with this week’s treasures! If you’ve not heard of Spring store yet, check them out on instagram! It’s a pop up shop in Norwich with different small businesses per week and I’m in there for the next two weeks!

Hello lovely people 👋🏼 have a rare selfie of my face! I have been so rubbish at posting this month and keeping up with as I was ill but I have some exciting news - I’ve been offered a new job working at a local primary school and I am soooo excited to start ✨ (I had to send a photo with a white background for my ID card)!
