I came across this quote when studying & it was like the moment a penny dropped…. Yes Elsie…. This is exactly what I feel too!
Even as a little girl, I always had a vision for how things could look. I was forever asking for paint to redecorate my bedroom, rearranging spaces, transforming the dining room into Santa’s Grotto at Christmas, or telling my mum the garden needed mowing before people came to visit because it was not well presented enough 😂
I just couldn’t understand why everyone else didn’t see what I could see. I’d walk into a room and immediately have ideas about what I wanted to change, where things should go and how much better it could look. Creating beautiful spaces was just instinctive to me.
Fast forward to today, and somehow I’ve turned that little girl obsession into my actual job. 🤍
This gorgeous kitchen was a huge project, and hearing these words from my lovely client Liz genuinely means the world to me.
I put so much of myself into every project. My creativity, my personality, my ideas, and a LOT of hard work, enthusiasm & laughter! But above everything else, I care enormously about my clients and how they feel at the end of it.
To be able to make a living doing something I genuinely love, creating beautiful homes, offices and business spaces for lovely people, still feels a little bit like a dream come true.
