Brilliant start to February working with the wonderful team at White Event Production on an epic awards show in Dublin for Michelin Guide UK & Ireland — celebrating the incredible chefs and restaurant teams receiving, retaining, and for some, increasing their Michelin Stars.

There’s something truly special about being part of an event that recognises such dedication, creativity and consistency at the very highest level. The energy in the room was electric — a perfect mix of anticipation, pride and pure joy as each name was announced. It’s always a privilege to witness those moments firsthand.

It was also lovely to be back in a theatre environment doing a full-scale awards show. Calling fly bars in, running cables through traps, working around beautifully tight cue sequences, and having an ample amount of wing space (what a luxury!) — all the things that remind you why theatre work is so satisfying. There’s a rhythm and teamwork to it that you just can’t replicate elsewhere.

Huge credit to the entire crew who made it happen seamlessly behind the scenes. From early load-in to final applause, it was a proper team effort — and a brilliant way to kick off the month. Here’s to more shows like this in 2026.
