The potters are all back in their studios now ā restocking, recreating and hopefully catching their breath after a brilliant two days at Belfast Potterās Market at 2 Royal Avenue.
Itās such a special gathering to see 30ā40 potters showcasing their work side by side, but perhaps even more special to feel the support, camaraderie and encouragement between their fellow makers.
There are a few traditions that Holly & Josh from started when they created the market, and weāve been committed to continuing them.
One of those is the āPotterās Potterā award, kindly sponsored by
Itās decided using the wonderfully old-fashioned paper, pencil and bowl method! Each potter writes down their favourite fellow potter, the votes are counted, and the potter with the most votes wins. š

Lindsay was blown away to have her work recognised by her fellow potters ā and delighted to receive the Ā£100 voucher prize from Scarva Pottery Supplies.
A huge thank you to Scarva Pottery Supplies for supporting this lovely market tradition and helping us celebrate the talent within the pottery community.
And, of course, a massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported the market. Weāve had such a positive response to the weekend, and we canāt wait to return to 2 Royal Avenue for our Christmas Market on 5th & 6th December. š
