We sell beautiful restyled furniture, solid vintage pieces which we have hand finished using the wonderful Annie Sloan chalk paint. All our furniture is locally sourced, and individually redesigned. This delightful, fool-proof chalk paint is a unique formulation in a range of heritage colours, and can be used on furniture and walls for a distressed or ‘french-look’ without any priming or undercoating. In addition to selling Annie Sloan products, we offer workshops which give people hands-on experience with the paint and provide ideas for re-crafting their own furniture. We are also showcasing the work of other local crafts people and artists such as Loveollio candles, personalised cushions, bunting, prints and paintings. These outstanding home accessories perfectly compliment the unique furniture design shown throughout Doris and Jeannie. I envisage Doris and Jeannie being a hub for local unique craft design and we welcome inquiries from local craftspeople who would be interested in selling their work through the shop, or who would be interested in renting rooms for workshops or even their own business.
