Merchant Mowse duties in June are extremely important and critical to the welfare of the creatures that live in the shop. They include polishing Wilfred’s favourites buttons, speaking to the creatures in the Dreamers Chamber , and ensuring the boggarts beneath the stairs remain suitably appeased by our monthly offerings. Despite popular culture, Boggarts tend to hide in houses and like to steal things, and have been known for 100s of years. We’ve added our recommendations for offerings, as they can get quite nasty if it’s not what they fancy…

After we had a little break from events last year…we’re so excited to unveil our first event of the year. The Merchant Mice won’t be travelling very far, as for the first time you’ll be able to find us on King Street in Belper for the Love Belper Festival 🎪 a day celebrating the businesses of Belper, it’s heritage and overall magic. They’ll be craft demonstrations (including corsetry, millinery and lace making!), music, food, and artisan exhibitors, some of which are no strangers to Primsisters…can’t wait to tell you who ✨

I absolutely love how the Way of Whispers is currently looking…the tapestries mixed with the harlequin, the prints…and not forgotten our suit of armour ✨ they all work together beautifully, creating a medieval witch aesthetic, with a hint of bedknobs and broomsticks as a gentlemen pointed out at the weekend!
