When people come and say, oh, I see this before…the answer is always no, because you cannot find them anywhere else as they are exclusively to Candle Wise.

They add a special touch to diffuser bottles and far more important, they are sustainable and handmade.

A Blast from the Past: Re-discovering my roots! 🫧✨

You might not know this, but I actually sold my first handmade product 26 years ago! Making things has always been in my blood. But when it comes to soap-making specifically, my journey started back in 2011.

These throwback pictures are from those very first batches, when I was experimenting with everything from intricate watermelons to those cute little yellow duckies! 🍉🦆 (Swipe to see the nostalgia!)

I took a long break after that, but this year (2026!), I pulled out all my old notebooks, looked over my notes, and decided to restart. Looking back at where I began is so nostalgic, and it really makes me appreciate how much time, patience, and practice teach you. My process has changed completely, and I am making things way more better now! 😉

I can’t wait to show you the new, sophisticated designs I’ve been working on, inspired by beautiful global destinations like Volterra and Kotor. 🌍🫧

Yesterday I was invited to a reception at No. 11 Downing Street! It really was one of those moments that make you sit back and reflect on how far this journey has taken us.

It was an incredible honour to be there to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Small Awards alongside so many inspiring independent British brands. Standing in one of the most iconic buildings in the country, showcasing Candle Wise, and talking about passion, purpose, and British manufacturing was an unforgettable opportunity. 

At Candle Wise, we pour our heart into creating premium, destination inspired home fragrances. Every single candle, reed diffuser, and wax melt is meticulously handcrafted in our Kent studio using sustainable ingredients, designed to act as a sensory passport that brings the spirit of global travel into your living space. 

Events like this are a wonderful reminder of how relevant independent businesses are to the challenges we face today. When we choose to support domestic production, embrace sustainability, and champion artisan skills, we build something that truly lasts. 

This invitation wasn’t just a milestone for us, it was a recognition of the hard work that goes into building a brand with purpose every single day.
