We are great at what we do, but I could never be a journalist! Four years of making candles, and clearly zero years of video editing skills.

We are packing up your latest orders before taking a short break to seek out fresh destination inspired scents and creative ideas.

There is still time to place your order before we close from 16 October to 25 October. Any orders placed while we are away will be processed when we return on 26 October.

Thank you for supporting our journey and loving our travel inspired fragrances as much as we do.

Four people, four opinions, one brother to buy for.

My favourite moment from the market today.

Here is what happens behind the scenes when a whole family takes over the stall to agree on one scent.

Do you think they took my suggestion or went for something completely different?

Hint: they bypassed last year’s best seller and opted for the one that held the crown for two consecutive years instead.

Which one do you think it was?

A little reality check from a small business. 🖤

This week, we received two emails asking Candle Wise for free products.

And this is not the first time.

We love creating beautiful home fragrance, but every candle has a real cost. Wax, fragrance, vessels, packaging and the time that goes into making each one, not even counting the time.

We are a small British business, and every order genuinely matters.

We love a good gifting opportunity, but free products are not free for us to make. We love collabs and partnerships, but honestly?

To all the small business owners who have been asked for freebies, we see you.

And to everyone who supports us by buying, gifting and sharing our products, thank you. It means more than you know.

Have you ever been asked to provide your products for free?

Everything comes in 3. Mistake?

NO, perfection.

What would be a mix of Aloha and Iguazu? I must say it’s very interesting.

A not so happy Tuesday.

Still trying to digest all.
